Regulatory status

Monex Canada is registered with both the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (“FINTRAC”) and Revenu Quebec. In Toronto, Ontario, Monex Canada is registered as an MSB with FINTRAC and holds registration number M17698932.

Additionally, Monex Canada holds a license from Revenu Quebec with license number 11642.

Operating under strict, comprehensive anti-money laundering procedures, Monex Canada is registered in all Canadian provinces.

Compliance

In line with regulatory requirements, Monex Canada has a legal responsibility to protect the global financial system from money laundering and the illegal transfer of funds across international borders in accordance with Canada’s Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTF Act). In order to address this essential aspect of our business, we have incorporated a comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing and Regulatory Compliance Program into our daily operations.

Settlement

Monex Canada provides clients with a secure trading environment to transact foreign exchange business. Our clients are provided with a highly secure system for communicating payment instructions and other sensitive data globally, while all outgoing payments and FX transactions made can be traced up to delivery.
