Monex Europe is delighted to congratulate Milan Varsani, who embarked on a 500km charity bike ride across Kenya, from Nairobi to Mombasa, in aid of Raha International helping to raise over £100,000 for the great charity.

The 3-day cycling challenge was organised by Pedalling 4Change in the aid of Raha International, helping them bring education to underprivileged children in Kenya.

In the Kenya heat of August 2018, riders from around the globe took to the streets to ride 500km, starting in the hustle and bustle of Nairobi to the beautiful beaches of Mombasa.

At Monex we’re building a strong portfolio of sponsorship opportunities and charitable events that we support because everyone here wants to have a positive impact that extends beyond the walls of our office and those of our customers. For us it is an even bigger reward if one of our employees gets directly involved, which is why we are so pleased to be able to support Milan as he takes on this challenge.

Raha International considers a child’s situation holistically and tailors a program to meet their needs. Paying fees for youngsters and providing amenities necessary to complete education form the basis of the programme. With the team’s skilled and trained volunteers, Raha also makes the most of excellent support from community volunteers, social workers, counselors, teachers, doctors and psychologists.
