Monex Europe partners with Barclays on the VETS Programme

Monex Europe is proud to announce its partnership with Barclays on the VETs programme, a project aimed at helping military veterans get back into the workplace.

Barclays is a founding partner of the VETS (Veteran Employment Transition Service) project, a programme run to mentor and place ex-military – such as the Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force – into the correct business roles.

With over 20,000 service people leaving the forces each year, Monex Europe chose to join VETS recognising the value of ex-military and the valuable skills they can bring to the workplace.

Prior to co-founding Monex Europe (formerly Schneider Foreign Exchange), Group Managing Director, Nick Edgeley, served 8 years in Her Majesty’s Royal Marines.

It should go without saying that the wide range of talents that veterans leave the armed forces with are incredibly valuable – not just as skills, but as life experience, in other words talents developed through practice, rather than theory.
